Pe scurt, un manager din Utah a gasit o metoda originala de a motiva angajatii, prin waterboarding - o metoda de tortura pe care se pare ca cei de la Casa Alba/CIA ar fi folosit-o in interogarile unor suspecti de terorism.
Cand angajatul supus procedeului a dat firma in judecata, managerul in cauza a explicat ca
"the exercise was a dramatization of a story in which a young man asks Socrates to become his teacher. Socrates responds by plunging the student's head underwater and telling him he will learn once his desire for knowledge is as great as his desire to breathe"
Iata si modul in care invataturile lui Socrate au fost puse in aplicare in firma din Utah:
